Position Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Marketplace Operations Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the backend operations of our online marketplaces — including the management of product listings, pricing, content updates, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms.

This is a key role within the company, directly impacting customer experience, sales performance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in e-commerce operations, thrives on precision when working with product data, and brings a proactive mindset to optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain product listings across multiple e-commerce marketplaces using backend tools and PIM systems

• Oversee the upload and update of product content, pricing, and availability in a timely and accurate manner

• Perform in-depth quality checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with platform requirements

• Manage and execute regular maintenance tasks such as price adjustments, content updates, and promotional offer uploads

• Analyze marketplace performance data and identify opportunities for optimization

• Develop and document workflows and contribute to continuous process improvements

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Service) to ensure a seamless marketplace operation

Your Profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in marketplace operations, e-commerce, or a similar role

• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when handling product data

• Comfortable working with large datasets and advanced spreadsheets

• Experience with PIM systems and backend marketplace tools (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, Mirakl, Shopify)

• Proven ability to follow structured processes and independently verify work

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop solutions

• Clear and professional communication skills (English required; German is a plus)

• A proactive mindset and a drive to optimize processes and workflows
